Citazione God's Dwelling Place I'm back ......It's a long time ago that I don't write.I was so busy to fix the appartement that I'm going to move in the near future.The house is full of boxes and soon I'll will lose the connection so it's a big mass.
My husband was in the hospital now he has a "pace maker" which makes life slow in a since. I must rush and do all things alone so I've got less time to open the computer.
I wish all best for my friends ,have a nice holiday hope to have nice news in the future. March 28 It's Spring time.....finallyI'm so happy that spring started in Palermo.It was the first time in my life that the cold weather brought it's effect on me.I was completely lazy... I hope that the coming days are going to be nice and the temperature will be higher in a way that will able me to move,go out,enjoy the long days because this night the hands of the clock will move back an hour in Europe,we are going to have longer days by awaking an hour before,actually I hate that but there is nothing that I can do.I know that another month I must struggle so as to get used to it....this morning me and my husband talked about it by saying why they don't keep it for the whole year?, at least, one time we get used to it there is no reason for this changement... why they change the hour?I wonder If there is a big bastard that enjoy hearing that children and sensible persons suffer from this changement ...If this exist I wish that this person will die and with him will die this legal hour which is not legal if we think about God and the nature of our world since the creation. February 20 I don't know what to write......I really don't know what to write,I've been so busy during the last three months,first I didn't have the desire to write after my sister departure and my mother death,after that,a small period passed without doing anything but then I reacted and actually I was busy with church activities,I take part in the church's choir so we did our second Christmas Carols cd.
I work so hard that in the evening I prefer to lie in bed under the covers because it's so cold in Palermo,the mountains that surround Palermo are covered with snow,this year it's terribly cold and not all the appartements in this city have central heating,I can't wait till this cold weather is over.Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm shivering from cold,I better go to the sitting-room and sit on the stove...(hehehehhe)....bye for now. January 01 Year 2009I wish everbody .......A Happy New Year
let this coming year be a better one,let it be full of joy and happiness,let peace be over in my own country ISRAEL.

October 26 My mother died.....After such a nice week spending with my sister.....what happened...my mother died. I don't know what to write and what to say .....I wish only at this moment to say thanks for those that visited my blog and in a special way thanks for those that left a comment,I appreciate that ...I'm passing a difficult moment I don't know what to do,I must work hard so as to visit my family in Israel.
I hope that I'll be able to visit my family and at the same time to have that enthusiasm to read others blog and to write.
I ask sorry from those that usually,I use to read their blog....bye for now......... October 19 I'm back.......It was a wonderful time with my sister,I spent seven intensive days with her by taking her around to see Palermo and part of Sicily,it was so hard to seperate but as I always say:"it's my desteny to be so far from my family" and you dear sister you know why and how it happened ....I know that we miss each other but thanks for the new invention "the computer" it keeps us in contact as if we live in the same country,Yes, it's not the same as going around ,chatting,eating together or having a meal outdoors,anyhow life continue on I'm sure we will have the occasions to see each other ,maybe one day in pension time I'll be back who knows how it's going to be !!!!!???? September 28 My Sister is comingWow+Wow + Wow ...my sister is coming to visit me after 27 years.I'm so happy because it's her first visit in my house after I got married.I don't want that somebody will think that we had been in bad relationship,I saw her,heard her voice from time to time but it was always me to do the visit,yes she rang me up sometimes but this visit I can't believe it.She will arrive on the 1st of October ,sure I won't be bloging I'll be around with her to see Palermo but mean while I'm so happy and I don't know what to do if to buy a red carpet and put it in front of the door or (hehehehe) call a band to play the song "O carol" as long as her name is CAROL,she will arrive by an aeroplane from Israel with her son,I'm so excited for this event hope to hear a lot of nice news...bye for now and thanks for all those that left nice comments in my blog. September 05 Finally it's SeptemberActually ,August was a hot month,I didn't go to any place I prefered to stay at home part because I suffer the hot weather and in part because I did repetitions for pupils that didn't pass their exams.
My son came for a visit from Rome,his visit was something about 3 weeks,I was busy cooking things that he likes to eat.
Few times I went out in the evening with my daughter and son,we had a nice chat,how time flies my own children they are already grown up,we had heavy discussions but now I can say it's over they can depend on themselves, but they do love the chat with their Mum.
Both children where out to have a swim with their friends,this year not even one time I have been along the sea shore I probably will do it as Autumn starts.
I'm so happy that Summer holidays are over ,now the church will open,unluckly they didn't finish to repair the electric plant of the church so we are going to meet each other in the chaplain's house,for me it doesn't matter where we are going to pray the most important thing is that the season is going to start this coming Sunday Alleluiah. August 04 One month is left....It's so hot over here in Palermo,nearly everybody is away for a small holiday,I don't know if I can do a small holiday it seems that it's very difficult for me,I had to work and work so as not to leave my pupils without a teacher,everybody is complaining saying: why I don't put up the price...or why I sometimes teach without asking money...Oh,it's for a simple reason I don't care of money as I do care to have a better society,give the possibility to learn even if one is poor.
Food is becoming everyday more expensive ...Is it the fault of poor people?!.... or the fault of those group of people that study using their brain by preventing others to eat,to work,to study....etc.
I know that I'm doing something for the sake of our world that started to be selfish,egoist,doing other human beings their own slaves....Where are you Gesus ??!! You are as you were the only individual over this world that is able to understand this moment...I wonder if we are going towards our world distruction....Why don't you do a change???? July 11 Yesterday ...was my birthdayI'm already 57 years old,"Wow" was the first word that I heard from my daughter in the morning,Mamy are you so old! turning my face towards her I asked:"Are you sorry for that?"...her answer was Oh no! I wish to be active like you when I'll arrive your age.Thinking alone just these words passed through my mind "that's almost good that she is satisfied with how her mother is".
In general,the day went in peace,I read my e-mail and there was a surprise from a friend sending me a wishing card for this occasion.
In the afternoon something around 5 o'clock pm. I left home walking towards the centre,wondering,watching the shops so as to choose something for this special day.
The resault was.....I bought perfium called "Charlie" blue...I use to buy it in Israel,but in Italy it's not so famous,it's about three years that I buy it,finally I can have it in Palermo (Italy),I bought a blouse which was so expensive but I've got it with half price since it's sale time.
I was so satisfied in what I bought,walking in peace towards the railway station,I sat down waiting for the bus to arrive.
While I was waiting a woman with her daughter came towards me,holding in her hand two bus-tickets,she asked me "Can I give you as a present these two tickets?",with a big smile on my face I answered:"Sure dear Lady...thank you very much".....I wonder if I gave that impression that I was waiting for a gift.....!!???
I arrived home at eight o'clock in the evening.
After super something about,ten thirty,in the night my son rang me up....wishing me "Happy birthday".
That's how it was celebrated my fifty seventh birthday,it was full of peace,love and joy; surrounded with queitness. July 01 My church do vacationMy church is the Anglican church in Palermo - Italy.
I'm very sorry that my church close in July and August,some might ask,How it can be?well,it's because we are few that attend this church and on the other hand most of the members leave Italy so as to visit their relatives in England and Scotland.
Since my relatives live in Israel and it's so hot over there,I prefer to stay at home with my air condition open during the hot hours of the day.It's so difficult to bear the heat from four o'clock in the afternoon till seven o'clock in the evening. The sun hits the walls of my appartement in these hours,it's rays enters directly everywhere because I live on the 4th floor.
I can't wait that summer time and vacations will be over it's so boring when all friends are away and the sun disturb.......patience, 63 days and it will be over. June 20 Book sale.....On Wednesday the 18th of June ,there was a book sale in my church,I was so busy putting the books in order so as to let people choose the books they like in an easy way.
I can't forget that,it was a successful day,all what we collected will be for Christian aid....I'm not so rich but when ever there is an occasion to help others I do it without hesitation.
Yes, I came back home in the evening I was so tired but at the same time happy that I did something good for those that are in need because even if we are not wealthy we can be healthy in mind and help those that are looking for a support. June 10 It's vacation time..... |

This makes 4 grandkids now, 3 girls and 1 boy. The other two grandkids are 14 and 16 years old, my son, Stan's girls.The weather has been extra hot here, we are just coming out of a heat wave, high 80's to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Nothing lower than 85 with the exception of the early mornings which began in the low to mid 80's, the rest of the day it soared into the 90's. The humidity was super high which made things seem hotter than they were. This morning it is in the high 70's with the high forecasted at 80 degrees fahrenheit. This is so welcomed. I understand how you feel about Israel because I see it here in Arizona. Some of my relatives are in Mexico and every day I see the border patrol in there jeeps that look like dog pound trucks driving around. I see the wall that they are putting up between Mexico and the USA. I took years to tear down the Berlin Wall and we turn around and build one in the USA. I don't understand how we could come so far but we are so backward when it come to friendships. Maybe some day it will be one world . But until then think how lucky you are to have TWO wonderful cultures in your life. There are a lot of people do not have that benefit. Hi Janett,
I invested my injury settlement monies on my education. The plan was to try to start a small business, supporting users and other small business'.
The plan has hit a few speed bumps along the way. My physical condition is not cooperating either. I am still trying to further my knowledge in the computer field.
